Mrs. Wanda Gayle Mullen May, 75, of Scobey, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. She was born August 5, 1943 in Tallahatchie County to Spencer M. Sr. and Yvonne Taylor Mullen. Gayle retired from the United States Postal Service after working there over 28 years. She was a member of Paul Baptist Church. Gayle was a loving wife, mother and sister and will be missed by all who knew her.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Paul Cemetery in Tallahatchie County with Rev. Elbert McKnight officiating.

Survivors include her husband, Kersh May; one daughter, Shari Roberts(Tim) of Huntsville, AL; one son, Josh Shaw of Chattanooga, TN; one step-son, Marty May(Barbara) of Vicksburg; two sisters, Joy Dungan of Scobey and Ann Cox of Grenada; one brother, Spencer M. Mullen, Jr. of Marion, AR; five grandchildren, Jordan Roberts, Keely Steele, Kami, Karley and Kennedy May; and one great-granddaughter, Aura Steele.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Wayne Mullen.
