He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Pearce Jones; son, Jimmie Kent Jones, Jr.; granddaughter, Lindsey Henman (Chris) of Smithfield, VA; two great grandchildren; brother, R. Hester Jones of White Level; sister, Carolyn J. Ball of Franklinton; sister-in-law, Joye Batchelor (Robert) of Clayton, several nieces and nephews and his loving dog, Penny. Jimmie had great affection for Renee Boyd, Cynthia Ball and Mike Jones as well as the people of Waverly, VA.
