RICHARD V. BATULLA
DATE OF PASSING: AUG 18, 2007

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Richard V. Batulla on Saturday, August 18, 2007, at his home.

He will be greatly missed by his wife of 37 years, daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, as well as many other family and friends.

Richard was predeceased by his stepfather Alex Eremko, grandmother Ingrid Jonasson, and his dogs Freckles, Kodde Boy and Kuddels.

Richard worked in the natural gas industry for 41 years before retiring this past March. He was an active member of Seven Oaks Game Fish Association for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting in the Virden, MB, area and his favourite fishing hole was at Keeley Lake, SK.

A very special thank you goes to Dr. Gilbert Welch for everything you have done.

A Memorial Service (was) held on Thursday, August 23 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home and Cemetery, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Rd. Honorary pallbearers (were) John Madill, Kelvin Dola, Joseph Unger, James Semenchuk, David Blahnik and Barry Neilson.

Per his wishes, cremation was performed.

Of note: Only a portion of his cremains were buried here. The rest were scattered over Keeley Lake in central western Saskatchewan, Canada
