Sarah Lee Bullock Dixon

Sarah Lee Dixon, of Columbia, MS, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 15, 2018, at the age of 92. Mrs. Dixon was a lifelong resident of Columbia. She was a loving mother who was devoted to her family and found great enjoyment in quilting, making crafts and decorating her home for special occasions. Mrs. Dixon was preceded in death by her husband, G. B. Dixon, Sr; her parents, Theodore and Annie Bullock; sisters, Dovie Pittman, Cordell Edwards, Mary Ann Raybourn and Delia Blair; brother, Jesse Bullock; daughters, Mary Helen Topey and Alice Robinson; sons, Claude Dixon, Ted Louge and Joe Bill Dixon; two special nephews, Joe David Blair and Tom Blair, Jr. She is survived by three daughters, Rose (Steve) Hicks, Edgie (David) Singley and Joyce O’Quinn; two sons, Jerry (Mildred) Dixon and Larry Dixon and two special nieces, Bertie Bullock and Missi Claburn as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia. The funeral service will be at Colonial Funeral Home on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 2:00pm. The service will be officiated by Chris Allen and burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
