James “Jim” P. Hyde, 82, husband of Margaret Weber Hyde went to be with Jesus on November 16, 2018. He was born on November 15, 1936 in Atlanta, Ga to Rev. Herbert E Hyde and Cora Lee Pinson Hyde. He was a graduate of Pleasureville High School and Georgetown College where he was a member and treasurer of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was a member, Sunday school teacher and deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church for over 46 years. He was currently a member of Liberty Road Faith Fellowship. Jim had a successful career at IBM for over 32 years. He was a Kentucky wildcat fan and volunteer for the 101 club for 27 years.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents and brother H. Jerry Hyde.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of 59 years Margaret, his daughter Julieanne Hyde Tucker, son-in-law Douglas K. Tucker, Grandsons Jackson, Mason, Matthew, Joey, and granddaughter Katerina Tucker, brother David H. (Wanda) Hyde, brothers-in-law Mike (Linda) and Greg Thompson, sister-in-law Brenda Hyde, nieces, nephew and cousins.
Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery, Georgetown, Kentucky.
