A native of Roanoke, she was a daughter of James L. and Mrs. Mary Lou Brown Allen and the wife of Nathan J. Cole.
She was a Methodist and a member of Coleman Place Home Demonstration Club.
Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Nathan A. Cole of Frankfort, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Lois Oliver and Mrs. Virginia Whitsett, both of Roanoke; two brothers, James L. Allen of Huntington, W. Va., and William W. Allen of Cumberland, Md.; and four grandchildren.
The body was taken to Smith and Williams Funeral Home.
