Born in Thunder Bay Stacey was a lifelong resident of the area. He attended St. Ignatius High School and later Lakehead University, where he earned an Honors B.A. in History. An avid outdoorsman, Stacey enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing, but it was at the family camp on Hawkeye Lake that he was the happiest.
He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Ron and Judi Doncaster, sister Melissa, nephew Owen, grandfather Edgar Laprade, aunts Bonnie (Bill) Morrison and Marcia (Jeff) Parry, special family Maureen (Guido) Nadin, Shevaun and Sheena, his cat Nibbles and numerous other relatives and friends.
Stacey was predeceased by his grandmother Arline Laprade, grandparents Irene and John Doncaster and fiancee Lenore.
