CLARKSBURG — Ricky Allen Barnes, 64, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Monday, November 12, 2018, at home.
He was born in Clarksburg on November 15, 1953, a son of Claire M. (Woofter) Givens and the late Max. L. Barnes.
In addition to his mother, Ricky is survived by two sisters, Sandra Tomaro and husband, Joe and Tammy Upton and husband, Dick and nieces and nephews, Danielle Thompson and husband, Ryan, Jill Barnes, Mark Barnes, Brandy Barnes, Missy Hickman and husband, Eric, Chris Ward and wife, Jennifer, Cole Barnes and wife, Emilie and Nikki Blue.
In addition to his father, Ricky was preceded in death by two brothers, Terry and Dean Barnes and one nephew, Tony Ward.
Ricky was a graduate of Washington Irving High School. He went on to work for Louie Glass Company in Weston and upon its closing entered the Boilermakers Union until his retirement.
He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting and fishing. Ricky never knew a stranger, and was loved by many.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Ricky’s wishes for cremation will be honored and a Celebration of his Life will be held at the Davis-Weaver Funeral Home, 329 E. Main Street Clarksburg, WV, from noon until the service time at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.
The Davis-Weaver Funeral Home is honored to serve the Barnes Family during this time.
