Ridgeland - Patricia Lynn "Patty" Huff peacefully left this world with family and friends by her side on November 14, 2018, in Ridgeland, Mississippi.

She is preceded in death by her parents Maxwell Thomas Huff and Lorraine Ricker Huff of Jackson Mississippi, her sister Rikki Denise Huff of New Orleans Louisiana, and nephew Daniel Thomas Hupperich of East Glacier Montana. She is survived by her sister Rebecca Ann Hill of Houston Texas, her brothers Michael Edward Huff of Marrero Louisiana and David Lee Huff of Brandon Mississippi; nephews Paul Benton "Ben" Foster IV (Phoebe) of Nashville Tennessee, Michael Lawrence Hill (Jennifer) of Houston Texas, grandnephew Evan Foster and grandnieces Avery Foster and Olivia Hill.

Patty was born September 3rd, 1956, in Jackson Mississippi. Raised in the Methodist Church as a member of Broadmeadow UMC, she was a graduate of Callaway High School, Class of 1974. She attended Mississippi State University, then returned to Jackson/Ridgeland and spent many years in the fine dining industry as a well-known and highly requested Server at Fisherman's Wharf, Nick's, Shapley's and The Parker House. Patty later decided to return to college and obtained an Associate's Degree in Accounting from Holmes Community College in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She then worked several years as an employee of The State of Mississippi with the Public Employee's Retirement System followed by the Special Projects Division of The Office of State Aid Road Construction until her retirement.

Patty was a kind and gentle soul, a caregiver to her three cats Big Kitty, Spot and Lucky. She had many friends; to know Patty was to love Patty. She enjoyed the late night club scene of the 70's-90's and was a wonderful dance partner. She loved music of the 1970's and would be the first person to let you know that's "pick up the pieces" and not "cut the cake". She really enjoyed watching "Dancing with the Stars", and after her two year ordeal with cancer Patty now dances amongst the stars. She will be sorely missed by many.

The family extends its gratitude to the staff of Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland Mississippi for the love, strength, support and friendship they extended to Patty in her final weeks of life. "Magical Martha" and "Miracle Mary" will always be remembered.

Arrangements are as follows: Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, November 20th, from 9 a.m. until noon (with Happy Hour in the Chapel from 11 a.m. until noon) at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home, 114 Burney Drive, Flowood Mississippi 39232. A graveside service will follow shortly thereafter at Lakewood Memorial Park in Clinton, Mississippi, with Brother David Carroll officiating.
