Gary Norman Goss, 77 years, of Midland, Ontario on December 28, 2017 surrounded by family and much love at Georgian Bay General Hospital following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Beloved husband of 56 years to Anne (nee Roberts), dear father of Christopher (Cathy) of Ariss, Greg (Catharine) of Fergus and Tracy of Newmarket.

Poppa to grandchildren Kyle (Sara) and Blair of Fergus, Danielle (James) of Elora and Deanna (Justin) of Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Great Grampa to Tucker and James. His family were the lights of his life and will miss him dearly.

Predeceased by his sister Gail of Oshawa and parents Edward and Floris Goss of Toronto.

Uncle to Diana and Michelle of Oshawa.

Gary retired following a long career in sales management with Canada Wire and Cable and moved to Midland, Ontario. He was an avid boater, enthusiastic golfer and proud family man. The family deeply thanks the incredible skill and compassion of the doctors and health professionals that supported him.

Dr. Fenkell and Dr. Rahim along with their oncology teams at Southlake Regional Hospital in Newmarket. Dr. Kizoff, Dr. Dolezel and Nurses Megan, Lesley, Tammy and Alana at the Georgian Bay General Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ride for Dad are welcomed as expressions of sympathy.
