Sylvia Elizabeth Ledbetter, age 80 of Dalton, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Hamilton Medical Center.

Sylvia was born on July 15, 1938 in Dalton, GA to the late Cleve Ledbetter and Sylvia Doris May King Ledbetter. In addition to her parents, Sylvia was also preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Ledbetter. She was of the Seventh-Day Adventist faith.

Sylvia is survived by: her daughter, Patsy Blalock Green and her husband, David of Calhoun; son, Harold Blalock and his wife, Olivia of Great Falls, Montana; three brothers, Herman Ledbetter, Danny Ledbetter, and David Ledbetter; three sisters, Carol Foster, Elaine Tinker, and Deborah Ledbetter; seven grandchildren, Harold Blalock, Jr., Derrick Mincey and his wife, Chantal, Mandy Gentry and her husband, Frank, Jr., Kendra Wells and her husband, Jeremy, Amanda Ingram and her husband, Hank, Alexa Cabiness and her husband, Marcus, and Chastin Yatman; and nineteen great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, November 16th at 2 PM from the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home with Reverend Carroll Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.
