Ida Mae Nunnally, 87 of Fitzgerald, GA formerly of Manchester, GA passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at her daughter’s home.
Mrs. Nunnally was born May 13, 1931 in Porterdale, Georgia the daughter of the late William Thomas Grant and Ann Sue Sprayberry Grant. She was a supervisor with International Playtex in Manchester for many years. She later worked for the Bulloch House in Warm Springs, GA. Mrs. Nunnally was a member to the First Baptist Church in Manchester. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Horace Lamar Nunnally, brother W. T. Nunnally and sister Mary Sue Boyt.
She is survived by her daughters Lisa Jones of Fitzgerald, Georgia and Debbie Hobbs of Harrison, Tennessee; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; her beloved dogs Oscar and Izzy and her caregiver Nell Jackson.
Funeral services for Mrs. Nunnally will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the chapel of Cox Funeral Home 93 Prather-Barnes Road Manchester, GA 31816 with Dr. Craig Williamson officiating. Interment will be in the Meriwether Memory Gardens, Manchester.
