Evelyn met the love of her life, Eugene Virgil Fuller, in Oregon, and they married April 15, 1941. They have three children, Samuel Fuller, Ron Fuller (deceased) and Donna Dougherty.
They moved to Perrydale in the 1940s, then to Amity in 1961, then to the McMinnville area in 2002.
Evelyn’s life could be summed up in serving others. She was always baking her bread, cinnamon rolls and pies and giving them to shut-ins. Evelyn was involved in her church in teaching children, heading her women’s group, embroidering and making quilts. She served as a gracious host to many who lived in her home through the years.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 8, at the Chapel of Macy & Son, 135 N.E. Evans. Viewing is scheduled from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 7, at the funeral home. A reception will be held following the memorial service at Praise Assembly Fellowship Hall, 930 N.E. Third. Interment at Amity Cemetery will follow the reception.
