NUNN - Ernest Harry Sr.: Passed peacefully away at the Norfolk General Hospital on Thursday, September 24, 2009 of Simcoe in his 85th year. Son of the late Charles and Grace Nunn and much beloved husband for 65 years of Reta (nee: Armstrong). Loving father of Ernest Jr. (Sandra), Grace McConnell (Gary), Mary Pearce (Ryan), Larry (Julie) and Lenny and was predeceased by daughters Ruth Silverthorn (2004) and Evelyn Smith (2002). Cherished grandfather of Gary, Derek, Natalie, Tracy (Victor), Paul (Sonia), Angie (Bruce), Chris (Heather), Andrew, John, Michelle (Sean), Amy (Jeff), Jessica (Bob), Michael, Melissa (Graydon), Dana (April), Jay (Kate) and Katie (Kevin) and 33 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother Ray and sisters Liz, Patsy, Shirley and Myrtle and was predeceased by brothers Jim, Bruce, Bill, Ronnie and John. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. at THE BALDOCK FUNERAL HOME, 96 Norfolk St. N., Simcoe. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at CALVARY PENTECOSTAL CHURCH, Ireland Side Rd. Simcoe. Reverend David Kingston officiating followed by interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
