Linda S. Burton, 67, of Rosamond passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Pana Community Hospital. She was born May 16, 1951 in Shelbyville, IL to the late Paul & Jenna (Davis) Witt.
Linda lived in the Pana area most of her life and was a homemaker & former caregiver. She enjoyed playing computer games and especially loved her new puppy.
Linda married James Burton on December 18, 1976 in Pana and he survives in Rosamond, along with daughter, Felica Burton, Atwood, IL; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Karen Nance; nephew, Nathan Nance; friends: Cindy Casner and Ed & Annette McGeehe and many cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James E. Burton, Jr. on August 27, 2017 and sister, Paula Jynene in infancy.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. in Rosemond Grove Cemetery with Pastor Dave Altman officiating.
