MORAN — Alfred L. Agnew, 95, died Tuesday in an Abilene hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the First Baptist Church with the Rev. Cole Farmer officiating. Burial will be in Moran Cemetery, directed by Godfrey-Neese Funeral Home of Albany.

Mr. Agnew was born in Dothan. He was the widower of Vida Lee Thomas Agnew, whom he married on Dec. 24, 1922, in Bluff Branch. He was a rancher and was a lifelong area resident. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include one son, James Rolland Agnew of Weatherford; one daughter, Judy Collinsworth of Albany; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
