Joseph W. Sinyard passed away at his River street home at an early hour Sunday morning, following a lingering illness. He came to Santa Cruz about 20 years ago, and of late years had followed his old trade of the barber business. He was a member of Rising Star lodge No. 496, F. & A. M., of Primghar, Iowa; Woodmen of the World of Santa Cruz, and Santa Cruz, lodge No. 824, B. P. O. E. Funeral services will be at White's chapel Tuesday at 2 p. m. with Rev. Heber St. Clair Mahood officiating. Interment will be in the family plot in Oakwood cemetery.
