Earl Dewell Stewart, age 83, of Water Valley, MS died at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo on October 31, 2018. He was born February 14, 1935 to the late Albert and Alice Newman Stewart. Earl worked 35 years as a mechanic at Big Yank Manufacturing. His joys were many which included coon hunting, and putting out boll weevil traps, cutting grass, but most of all was his family. Earl was also a member of Turkey Creek Baptist Church.

Visitation is planned for Friday, November 2, 2018 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Services will begin at 2:00 PM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Dean Tilley and Bro. Charles Fitts officiating. Burial will be in Turkey Creek Cemetery.

Earl is survived by two daughters, Janeen Henry (Bill) and Peggy Baggett (Roger) both of Water Valley, MS; two sisters, Ina Mae French of Water Valley, MS and Willie Raye Faulk (Clyde) of Anchorage Alaska; one brother Homer Stewart of Tocowa MS. as well as 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

Earl was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Virginia Stewart and one infant son, Robert Earl Stewart as well as 9 brothers and sisters.
