Williams, Gail Lynn Born on November 30, 1962 in Gary, Indiana to Roger and Jenney Russell, traded time for eternity on Saturday, November 10, 2018 with her husband Leo by her side. She had expressed that she was ready to go. She was a born again blood washed soldier of Christ Jesus. Gail was preceded in death by her father, Roger Russell, Sr., brother, Roger Russell, Jr., and son, Madyan. Gail will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 34 years, Leo Williams; her son, Winston; mother, Jenney Russell; sister, Roseland and family friend, Carol; grandchildren: Winston, Jr., Arianna, twins Tanya and Gimelle, and Akyle; nieces and nephews: Clarice, Wayne (Shonda) Ziar, Mia (Sajjad), Mariah, JaQuan, Daniel (Samantha), NaSirah, Natalia and Anthony of Texas; mother-in-law, Rose Lee Williams; brother and sisters-in-law: Willie Mae Jennings, Cynthia (Gordon), Rosemay, Delores, Phyllis, Annette, Lisa, Leon (Carol), Cleveland, Aaron (Gale), Derek, Earnest Lee (Josephine). Gail had a grand sense of humor; she could really make you laugh. She loved the Lord with all her heart. It was important to her to make God proud of her. Gail was always a care giver; she worked in Chelsea and Jackson. She was a manager at Wendy's fast food on Zeeb Road in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Gail also worked as a housekeeper at John George Home in Jackson. She was always caring for her mother and family. A Homegoing Celebration of Life for Gail will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 at Noah's Ark Church (345 E. High Street) at 11:00 am with family hour 10:00 am until time of service. Gail will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
