Calvin worked in Masonry for over 50 years and at Whirlpool. He was a member of Cornerstone Fellowship Baptist in Owensboro, KY. He enjoyed racing motorcycles, hunting, and fishing. Calvin was an avid gamer.
Calvin is survived by his wife, Effie Baker; children, Brenda Spells of Newburgh, Jay Dee (April) Baker of Newburgh, and Ronald Baker of Boonville; grandchildren, Christopher J. Sauter, Dylan L. (Mary-Lynn) Spells, Hope Ann Baker, Kyleigh R. Wilson, Morgan Michelle Baker, and Clint Jonathon Baker; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry Baker, John (Doreatha) Baker, and Robert Baker; sister, Marjorie Ann Smith; and nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Ray Baker.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm – 8:00 pm Friday, November 16, 2018. A funeral service will begin at 10:00 am Saturday, November 17, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Denny Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Midway Cemetery in Spencer County.
