Thomas LeRoy Rowland, 85, of Fort Wayne died November 12, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, IN. Thomas was born May 23, 1933 in Des Moines.
He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and also served in the U S Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from Drake and Kansas State University and was the owner of BSI Interiors and “Other Times” antique restorations.
Thomas is survived by his children: Craig R. (Susan) Rowland and Laura Rowland: grandchildren, Angie (Nathan) Roberts and Sean Rowland: great-grandchildren, Silas and June Roberts and Asher Rowland all of Fort Wayne, IN; sister, Mary (Bill) Gillin of Des Moines, IA; .
Thomas was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Patricia A. Rowland and brother, Robert Rowland.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 10700 Aboite Center RD with calling one hour prior. Visitation will be held Monday, November 19, 2018, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Divine Mercy Funeral Home, 3500 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne with the rosary at 5:30 pm. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
