Mr. Solomon Harman, a resident of this city for the past four years, died early Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank R. Williams of 322 S. 6th St. Mr. Harman came to this city from West Virginia. Besides his daughter he is survived by three sons, Harper of Winslow, AZ, Irving of Simla, CO, & Owen of El Paso, TX, who are on their way here. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Strong-Thorne Mortuary for Mr. Salomon [sic] Harman, 86, who died Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank R. Williams, 322 South Sixth Street.
Mr. Harman at one time was associate editor of the Lawrence (KS) Journal-World & also was on the editorial staff of the Topeka Capital. A resident of Albuquerque for the past four years, he is survived by his daughter, with whom he resided, & three sons, Harper of Winslow, AZ; Irving of Simla, CO., & Owen of El Paso._Albuquerque Journal, Oct. 25, 1937, pg 8

Funeral services for Mr. Solomon Harman will be held in the chapel of the Strong-Thorne Mortuary Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. John B. Cavitt will officiate. Interment will be made in Fairview Memorial Park._Funeral announcement, Albuquerque Journal, Oct. 27, 1937

Cause of death: senility, contributory cause chronic nephritis. Signed Dr. Cornish Jr.
