Robert E. Brewer Sr., 70, Russiaville, passed away at 6:10 pm Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Wellbrooke of Kokomo. He was born January 9, 1948, in Elwood, IN, to the late Hoyt W. and Dorothea B. (Fox) Brewer.
Robert retired from Chrysler after 25 years of service. He was a member of the Russiaville Masonic Lodge #82, Mid-America Threshing & Antiques of Tipton, Moose Lodge #1590 in Tipton, UAW Local #685, and the Issac Walton League Howard County Chapter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping with his cousins at the family campground. Robert taught a Welding Class for Chrysler employees. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and being part of their activities.
Survivors include his children, Robert E. (Kim) Brewer Jr., and Sharon Davis; grandchildren, Madison, Marissa, Brandon, Ashley, Aaron, and Alycia.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents; son, William Joseph Brewer; and brother, Roger Brewer.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, November 17, 2018, at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main Street, Russiaville, with Rex Dunning officiating. Burial will follow in Russiaville Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 5-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 pm Friday.
