Mount Carroll -- Loren Adolph, 70, of Mount Carroll, was dead on arrival at Savanna City Hospital Thursday evening. Born April 23, 1910 in Carroll County, he was the son of John and Lepha (Wright) Adolph. He married Erma Petty. Surviving are his widow; one son, John of Vacaville, Calif.; and two brothers, Vernon of Chadwick and Earl of Milledgeville. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Frank Funeral Home in Mount Carroll. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Mount Carroll. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
