Parents - Joseph and Lena (Robare) Leggett.

Veteran- Korean War serving from 1953-1956 and traveled throughout Europe during his Army service where he served as an Assistant Dental Technician.

He was an Assistant vice Commander of Disabled American Veterans in Peru, NY. In the 1950s he was employed by the D&H railroad in Rouses Point, NY along with his father Joseph and brother, Gerald.

He was then employed as a NYS Correction Officer from 1956-1972 and served as a Cumberland Head volunteer fireman as Assistant Fire Chief for many years. He later retired from General Services Administration in 1994 after the death of his wife Jeannine.

Survived by his two sons; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his parents; his wife, Jeannine (Morin) Leggett in 1994; his brother Gerald Leggett, a WW2 veteran, and two sisters, Jean Norris (nee Leggett), and Elizabeth 'Betty' Leggett.
