Glen Lane, 83, of Middleton, ID, died peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday, November11, 2018. He was born November 5, 1935 in Scott County Virginia, to Howard and Laura Lane. After Glen was discharged from the Army in 1955, he married his wife of 60 years, Lynda Rodgers, in Emmett, ID on September 6, 1958.
He is survived by his loving wife, 4 sisters; Helen Lyons of Virginia, Geraldine Folden of Tennessee, Kay Folden of Virginia, Loreen Folden of Tennessee, 2 brothers; Howard Lane, Jr of Indiana and Mike Lane of Virginia. Also surviving are all 4 children; Cindy (Dwain) Jones, Laura (Doug) White, Glen Wesley Lane, and Scott (Kim) Lane, and many grand, and great-grand, children.
Glen is preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and 1 sister.
He enjoyed reading western novels and a long evening of competitive cribbage, but he especially loved camping, boating, and fishing with his wife, family and friends.
Viewing hours will be between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2018 at Dakan Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday November 20, 2018 at Dakan Funeral Chapel. Graveside service will follow at Middleton Cemetery.
