HIRES - Margie R. Hires, 64, passed away Aug. 13, 2000. She was a 40 year resident of Jacksonville and was of Baptist faith. Mrs. Hires was preceded in death by her son, Michael J. Hires and is survived by her husband, Thomas Hires; 2 daughters, Jan Taylor and Beverly Hires; 3 grandchildren, Nora Smith, Mindy Hires and Stacey Hires; 2 great grandchildren, Quinn and Carter Smith; several brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Thur., Aug. 17, 2000 in Riverside Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Wed. at Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd.
