Bruce, MS-Jeanette Collins King, 87, passed this earthly life on Monday, November 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness. She was born, June 23, 1931 to the late parents of Miles Paul Collins and Virgie Mae Armstrong Collins. Jeanette was a devoted homemaker, a past employee of Kellwood Company and D.S.L Garment Company. She was a member of Old Town Baptist Church. Her caring heart and personality will be missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, James Collins, Doyle Collins, Bayne Collins and a son, Larry King.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 years James Norris King, Bruce; daughter, Brenda Harrelson, Bruce; sister, Allie Gulledge, Bruce; grandchildren, LaDonna (Shane) O’Bannon, Tim Krystal) King, Corey (Rhonda) Harrelson, Jarred (Jill) Harrelson, Jeffrey King; great grandchildren, Jodie Gregory ,Austin King, Allison Haire, Dakota King, Kodie O’Bannon, Dylan King, Milo King, Meagan Harrelson and Zoey Harrelson and a great- great grandchild, Tate King.
Visitation and funeral will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. till service time at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel. Bro. Darrell Logan and Bro. Sam Yarbrough will be officiating in the service. Burial will be in Mt. Comfort Cemetery.
