Bloyce A. Holcomb was born August 7, 1927 in Jackson County and departed this life Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Memorial Hospital in Manchester being 87 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Vollie & Sudie (Roark) Abrams.
Bloyce is survived by two daughters, Donelia Holcomb of McKee and Kathy Vires of London. She was blessed with a grandson, Kristopher Ryan Vires and with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, Bloyce was also preceded in death by her husband Oscar Holcomb; by her son in law, Ryan Vires and by the following siblings, Robert 'Link' Abrams, Rosemary Edwards, Vollie Abrams Jr., Joyce Cunnigan, Donald Abrams, Jean Bishop, Nehmer Abrams, Ruby McQueen, Kermit Abrams and Carl Abrams.
Funeral service was held 11:00AM Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Lakes Funeral Home with Bro. Cheyenne Metcalf officiating. Burial followed in the Pilgrams Rest Cemetery. Pallbearers were Larry Smith, Harold Bowman, Larry Collins, Kenny Tillery, Bill Morris, Lonzo Gray & Barry Bishop.
