Chandra Leigh "Sissy" Richards, 45, passed away Saturday, November 10, 2018, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.
Born March 13, 1973, Chandra was the daughter of James and Margaret (Dinkins) Romines.
She worked for the Sevier County Board of Education for the past fifteen years, ending her career as the Kitchen Manager at Boyds Creek Elementary School. Chandra was a member of Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Romines; her aunt, Janie Teeters; her mamaw, Dorothy Dinkins; her grandmother, Virginia Romines; and her step-son, Brandon Dykes.
Chandra is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Scotty Richards; her daughter, Adrienne Nicole Richards Daniels and husband, Seth; her pappy, Jim Romines and his fiancé, Teri Lane; her mother-in-law, Connie Richards; her sister, Jill Smith and husband, William; her nephew, Blake Smith; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; her brother, Scott Romines, his wife, Susan, and children, Sara and Stephen; and special friends Lucy Shular and the staff of Boyd's Creek Elementary School.
The family will receive friends from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at Union Valley Missionary Baptist Church, 855 Union Valley Church Rd., Seymour, TN 37865. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m., with Pastors Floyd Powell and David Mason officiating. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, at Boyds Creek Cemetery.
