Phyllis Jean "Granner" McGown Kelly, 81 of Pax, W. Va. was the daughter of the late Wilbur L. and Goldie H. McGown. Granner was a respected member of the Pax area, known as the "First Lady of Pax" for over six decades. She was a member of the Long Branch United Methodist Church, Charter Member of the Red Hat Society of Mt. Hope, and member of the Winola Chapter 59 Eastern Star for over fifty years. Also known as the "PR Person" for the family owned and operated business and local landmark, Kelly's Korner in Pax. She is survived by her husband of sixty-six years, Larry "Papper" Kelly; daughter, Vickie Kelly Toney; two grandsons; a great granddaughte; a great-great grandson; brothers, Wilbur "Jack" McGown, Harold "Tom" McGown; and sister, Nellie Hudson.
