Jackie “Jack” Lee Bennett, 81

HARTFORD CITY – Jackie “Jack” Lee Bennett, 81, passed away at 11 a.m. Friday, November 9, 2018 at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Hartford City on November 5, 1937 to Walter A. Bennett and Mary M. (Fetty) Bennett. Both parents preceded him in death.
Jack married Evelyn Earlene (Hatton) on February 10, 1981 in Hartford City. She precedes him in death on August 23, 2017.
Jack retired from Indiana Box in Montpelier and was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Lighthouse Church in Dunkirk. He was an avid TV watcher.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Anthony Dale (wife, Angela) Bennett of Colbert, Oklahoma, Timothy D. Bennett of Greensburg, IN, Rachel R. (husband, Jeff) Bennett-LaBert of Portland, Oregon, Carl David Bennett of Hartford City and Chalottia (husband, Patrick) Heatherman of Columbia City; brother, Joseph (wife, Irene) Bennett of Hartford City; sister, Diane (husband, Leonard) Stephens of Eaton; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is preceded in death by infant sons, Thomas Stephen Bennett and Rodney Bennett, siblings, Arthur Bennett, James Bennett, David “Butch” Bennett, Donald Bennett, Janice Kauffman, Mary Ester Bennett and Mary Ellen Bennett.
Memorial Service , November 14, 2018 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City.

She was born in Hartford City on July 21, 1956 to Carl James Hatton and Evelyn Loretta (Morgan) Jenkins.
Earlene married Jackie L. Bennett “Jack” on February 10, 1981 in Hartford City.
She was a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle Lighthouse Church in Dunkirk.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Jackie L. Bennett “Jack” of Hartford City; mother and stepfather, Evelyn L. Jenkins and Robert G. Jenkins Sr. of Hartford City; daughter, Chalottia (husband, Patrick) Heatherman of Marion; son, Carl D. Bennett of Hartford City; grandchildren, Jasmine and Chelsey; sisters, Carlene L. King of Hartford City; Janet L. Hatton of Muncie; Valentina L. Ryan of Marion; Lisa Marie (husband, Scott) Uhrick-Miller of Hartford City; Tammy M. Hatton of Hartford City; brothers, Rick A. (wife, Bobby) Hatton of Montpelier; Richard D. Hatton of Hartford City; Robert T. (wife, Cindy) Hatton of Hartford City; James Marion (wife, Melissa) Hatton of DeSoto; Fred Lee Hatton of Indianapolis; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, son, Tommy Bennett and brother, James Hatton.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City, IN with Rev. Bobby Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Eaton, IN.
