FARMVILLE - Betty Rogers Langston, age 80, died Saturday, November 10, 2018.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. by Rev. Doug Owens at the Farmville Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Walstonburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 P.M. prior to the service.
Betty was a native of Pitt and Greene counties and was a longtime employee of A.C. Monk and Company and Monk Enterprises. Her passions included her family, reading, gardening, cooking, and baking. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Donniehue "Shot" Langston.
She is survived by her sons, Donniehue Langston, Jr. of Raleigh, and Robby Langston of Walstonburg; granddaughter, Ashlee Langston of Fountain; and a brother, Billy Rogers of Walstonburg.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Gina Langston, Gina Whitehurst, and Neat Rogers for their loving care and support. Also, a special thanks to SilverCARE and their caregivers, as well as Community Hospice and their staff.
