Nancy Lynn Ganter 70, of Stilwell, Oklahoma passed away on September 29, 2018 in Kennewick, Washington. She was born in Stilwell to Troy & Dolly (Ritter) Abbott on January 5, 1948. She married Lynn Ganter on December 27, 1968. Nancy and Lynn's first daughter Christie was born in 1972 followed by their second daughter Tricia in 1974. They drove the family up the Alcan Highway to Alaska in 1975 in a Volkswagen Beetle, camping out the whole way up from California. Nancy was a woman of many talents and interest. She loved to sing, and had a song for everything! She enjoyed reading (especially the Bible), cooking, spending time with her children and grandchildren. She gave makeup, hair and fashion classes that helped ladies find the best versions of themselves. She could give you a haircut, bake you a German Chocolate cake and mess up a joke all in the same day. Anyone that knew her could tell she was genuine and truly delighted to have talked with you. She was a wife, homemaker, mother and friend. She worked in the Kenai Peninsula School District and in the dental field for many years. She lived in many places, OK, MO, OR, CO, CA, AK and VA. She traveled all over the US and took an anniversary trip with Lynn to Italy. Above all else, Nancy loved the Lord. She lived her whole life for Jesus, and now she's with her Savior, dancing on streets of gold, singing His praises forever. Nancy is survived her husband of almost 50 years, Lynn Ganter; her daughter Christie Waguespack, her husband Brian and their children, Brandon and Paige; her daughter Tricia Gordon and her daughters Ahsten and Riley; her brother, Mike Abbott and his wife Elaine from Texas; her nephews Dennis and Jon and their families also in Texas; her Mother in Law, Marjorie Ganter; her Sister in Law Louise and her two girls all in North Carolina; her Sister in Law Mary Nell in Maine and her Sister in Law Patricia Sobrero of Tennessee. She also leaves behind so many friends that she was honored to have called family. She will be missed beyond measure, but we know she is singing in the choir for her Savior
