Mrs. Peggy Sue (Wellesley) Manning, of Fritch, passed away on November 9, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
She was born on May 27, 1955 in Borger to Barbara Lee (Bashor) Harris and Charles Wellesley. She was 63 years of age.
Peggy graduated from college in 1977 . She was a Registered Nurse who prided herself on providing excellent care whether she was guiding a new life into this world or offering comfort as a life ended. She retired in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her son, Clint Manning; her stepmother, Pat Wellesley and her mother and stepfather, R.L. and Barbara Harris
Her survivors include: her husband of 44 years, Donny; her daughter and son-in-law, Bree and Wes Jameson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her father, Charles Wellesley of Stinnett; a sister, Charlene Cain and husband, Darrell of Stinnett; 2 brothers: Ross Wellesley and wife, Donna of Amarillo and Mikel Wellesley and wife, Janet of Borger; 7 grandchildren: Alicia Ward, Canaan Manning, Poetry Jameson, Autumn Jameson, Wesley Jameson Jr., Journey Jameson and Willow Jameson; and 1 great-grandchild, William Ward IV.
Friends and family can pay their respects at the funeral service , Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains, Borger. Mark England of Lighthouse Baptist Church, Amarillo, will be officiating. Interment will follow at Stinnett Cemetery, Stinnett, Texas.
The family will welcome friends on Tuesday, November 13, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains.
There will be a Memorial Service , Friday, November 16, 2018 at 12:00 (noon) at One Church, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Pastor Darin Troutman.
Services are entrusted to Brown Funeral Directors.
