Charles was born July 6, 1980 in Dallas to Chuck and Cindy Machala. Chuck raised him as a single father with much help from family members. Charles admired his dad for that and appreciated what Chuck had done for him. He had a happy childhood and loved his dad, grandparents, uncles, aunts and cousins dearly.
Charles graduated from Plano Senior High in 1998. He married the love of his life, Wenhsing Cheng, on Jan.11, 2011, after nearly seven years of dating. He worked in the services industry for most of his adult life because he liked helping people. He was kind-hearted, thoughtful and understanding and was often called a good Samaritan from helping strangers. He would spend hours or days researching a topic from all angles. He was patient and easy-going and had a good sense of humor. He was kind, loyal and faithful. He could be a true friend.
He enjoyed cooking and Wenhsing loved what he cooked. For recreation he liked watching good movies, Formula 1, moto GP racing, football, soccer and golf. His favorite college team was Texas A&M, a trait he picked up from his grandfather. He loved the outdoors and liked playing golf and fishing.
Charles touched the lives of many who knew his kindness and caring personality. He was a joy to know and will be missed very much by his family and friends.
