"W8QAY" Mr. Lester L. Price, 76, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013, at his residence. Born January 11, 1937 in Benton Harbor, MI to William and Esther G. (Lester) Price, he had lived in this area most of his life. On May 3, 1958, he married the former Judy Coates at Muskegon Heights Baptist Church. He had been employed as Sales Manager for Howmet Corp. before retiring, and was an active member of Trinity Baptist Church, serving as choir director, soloist, and Sunday School teacher. Les was "W8QAY" to his fellow ham radio friends.

SURVIVORS include his wife, Judy; sons: David (Nancy) Price, Dan (Shawnie) Price, and Dean (Kristin) Price; and six grandchildren. His parents and a brother, Thomas Price, preceded him in death.

A CELEBRATION OF LES' LIFE will be held 11 AM Monday, December 2, 2013 at Trinity Baptist Church, 4381 S. Sheridan Dr., with Pastor Scott Church officiating. In consideration of health issues, in lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to Trinity Baptist Church or Harbor Hospice. The Lee Chapel 6291 S. Harvey Street assisted the family.
