Beatrice Weaver Coble Graham Beatrice Weaver Coble Graham, age 88, of Charlotte, died peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2011.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, William Alexander Graham. Bea was the daughter of the late Nelle Weaver Coble and William Crawford Coble of Oakboro, NC. She was born June 28, 1922 in Oakboro, NC. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She taught kindergarten, first grade and learning disabilities classes in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System during her career. She loved teaching and playing bridge. She was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Joan Graham of Charlotte and Sara Graham and husband Guy Gulliksen of Hampstead, NC; grandchildren, Amy Graham McTier and husband Kevin McTier, Stephen Patrick Ratcliffe and wife Allison Carr Ratcliffe of Charlotte; great-grandchildren William Graham McTier, Jacob Alexander McTier, Leila Vickers McTier, and Graham Carr Ratcliffe.

A memorial service will be held in the chapel at First Presbyterian Church at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 13. Memorials may be made to The Television Ministry at First Presbyterian Church or Hospice and Palliative Care, Charlotte Region. Warlick Funeral Home is serving the Graham family.
