Her funeral service will be at 11:00 am Monday, November 12, 2018 at Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial Home, in Bloomington with Rev. Adrian Lamkin officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of service on Monday.
Entombment will be in Park Hill Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 2502 E College Ave, Bloomington, where Lucille was a longtime member.
Lucille was born on November 1, 1919, in Rogersville, Hawkins County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Christian (Chris) Emmert and the late Virginia Amanda (Russell), formerly of Normal, IL.
She is survived by one daughter, Carol A. Montgomery; three grandchildren, Mark C.
Johnson, Dr Michelle Lynn (Aaron) Kush, Angela (Stephen) Kaufmann; and two
great-grandchildren, Jacob M. Johnson and Ashley Kaufmann; and several nieces and
nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Robert Lee Thomas; one son, Larry Chris Thomas, and seven siblings.
