Clark, 75, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, in Artesia.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary.
Paula was born Feb. 10, 1942, in Artesia, the daughter of Lon and Mary Marie (Wheeler) Billips. She was a longtime resident of Artesia.
Paula was a secretary in the insurance and finance industry. She loved to fish, play the slots, dance, and go shopping. She also loved music and played the drums in her husband’s band.
Paula loved life and enjoyed each day of her life. Many people remember her as the lady smoking outside of Jack Brannan’s office.
Survivors include son Michael Clark of Artesia; daughter Lori Brock of Gautier, Miss.; brother Eugene Billips of Artesia; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Billips.
