Castillo, 29, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017, in the Artesia General Hospital Emergency Room.
Fr. Jorge Vargas will officiate the services, with cremation to follow under the direction of Terpening & Son Mortuary. Pallbearers will be Robert Rodriguez, David Castillo, Travis Wilkinson, CJ Carter, Michael Ivan Atole and Jesse Stevens.
Visitation will begin at noon Thursday at Terpening & Son Mortuary. A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Grace.
Felix was born Jan. 18, 1988, in Artesia. He was a lifelong Artesia resident.
He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, cookouts, and spending time with his family and children. He worked as a car hop for Sonic.
Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Caroline Castillo and Ramon Pina, of Artesia; fiancée Isydra Wilkinson of the family home; sons Noah Wilkinson, Felix Castillo Jr. and Jo’Nah Castillo, all of Artesia; brother Jeremiah Vega of Artesia; sisters Erika Pina, Gabriella Pina, Reina Pina and Nelci Pina, all of Artesia; grandmother Mary Lou Castillo of Artesia; and great-grandmother Isabel Travino of Artesia.
He was preceded in death by his infant brother, Ramon Manuel Pina; grandfather Monroy Castillo Sr.; and cousin Matt Lee Monroy Atole.
