Charlene N. Harris, age 79 of Middleville, passed away November 6, 2018, at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital. Charlene was born, June 3, 1939 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of James and Mary (Briggs) Missad Sr. For over twenty five years she was a cook at Thornapple Kellogg Schools. Charlene loved to cook, and living on Barlow Lake. Most important to Charlene was her family. In June of 1959, Charlene married the love of her life, Earl W. Harris, and he preceded her in death on May 10, 2005. Charlene is survived by a son, Scott (Toni) Harris, daughters: Debra (David) Murray, and Shelly (Tony Radwan) Harris, a brother James (Jan) Missad, grandchildren: Isabel and Aylssa Murray, Sarah McNees, Justin and Caleb Skaggs, great grandchildren: Haley, Paige, Gracie, Nora and Eastin, several nieces and nephews, special friends: Shelley and Carol. Charlene's family will receive friends, Saturday, November 10, 2018, 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at the Beeler-Gores Funeral Home, Middleville where her funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Pastor Don VanSlyke officiating. Charlene will be laid to rest next to beloved husband, Earl, in Coman Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association will be appreciated.
