She was born September 16, 1932 in Davison, Michigan to the late James Henry and Myrtle Anna (Casteel) Hixenbaugh. Boots was a longtime resident of Sebring, Florida. She was a retired Nurse. Boots loved the outdoors, daffodils and the cabin on the Lake.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Leo Blake in 2004. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Moore (Mike) of Easley, South Carolina; sons, Denny Blake (Cookie) of Lake Wales, David Blake (Diana) of Sebring, Daryl Blake (Rachel) of Sebring, sister, Jackie Padget of Linden, Michigan; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 5:00 pm with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 6:00 PM at the Johnson-Nelson- Gill Funeral Home, 322 North Scenic Highway, Lake Wales, Florida 33853.
