Margaret T. (Burton) Bagley, 56, of Brown Ave., Mattydale, died peacefully at her home on Sunday with her family by her side. A native of Syracuse, Peggy graduated from Paul V. Moore High School, Central Square, in 1967 and resided in Mattydale forthe past 28 years. She was a devoted wife and mother as well as a friend to all. She was a certified foster mother for Onondaga & Oswego County Dept. of Social Services and cared for many children over the past 28 years. She was also a communicant of St. Margaret's RC Church in Mattydale. Her father, Raymond Seymour, predeceased her in 1998. Surviving are her husband and best friend of 25 years, Demetrius "Jim" Bagley; two daughters, Carol M. Burton and Kristina S. Curtis, both of Syracuse; two sons, Raymond J. Burton of Lyncourt and James E. Burton Jr. of Cicero; her mother, Margaret "Peggy" Seymour of Hudson, FL; two brothers, Rayond C. Seymour of Hudson, FL, and Joseph J. Seymour of Earlton; her aunts, Frances Dillenbeck of Hudson, FL, and Terry Dishaw of Syracuse; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be 9:15 a.m. Thursday at Krueger Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Margaret's Church in Mattydale. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 2619 Brewerton Rd., Mattydale. The family wishes to thank all the friends, family and especially V & J Foods and Pizza Hut for all their support.
