Karen S. Cox, 64, of Springfield, MO, passed away peacefully with her loving family nearby. She was born January 24, 1954 in Tulsa, OK to Charles and Juanita (Blades) Caviness.
She married Mike Cox in 1973. Karen was an employee of Springfield Public Schools nutritional services department for over 25 years. She enjoyed reading, sewing and quilting, watching movies, playing board games, card games and Bingo.
Karen is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 35 years, Mike, and an infant sibling.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, Shawn and wife Andrea and Jessica and husband Damon, grandchildren; Julia and Brendan Cox and Noah and Grace Robinson, brother; Gary, sisters; Cathy, Vicki and Teresa.
Burial at Rivermonte Memorial Gardens.
