Our beautiful April, named from the month she was born, defines the very life she lived; the opening of flowers. Her loving soul was as bright as a yellow rose, the love which she provided was as gentle as sunflower. April dedicated her life to her family. She had a profound influence on those whose lives she graced with her presence. She taught her children to have a strong faith in God, to be devoted to family, to be loyal, respectful to others, independent and caring.
She expressed every day of her life that one of her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. They brought her so much pride and happiness. April always had a smile on her face and joke on her lips, she loved to be the life of the party. The legacy of April's kind spirit and zest for life will live on through her loving family and friends.
April now joins in her heaven, her baby boy George Johnson Cantu and Dawn Starc.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memories, her daughter Nikita Johnson; her son Angel Johnson; her father George Johnson, Sr.; her mother Carol Starc; her brothers: George Johnson, Jr. and Clyde Johnson; grandchildren: Xavier Alvarez, Richard Trevino III, MilliAnna Cantu, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Interment will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2018 at Laguna Gardens / Duncan Cemetery in Flour Bluff.
