Mr. Spoone, an old gentleman eighty-nine years old, died at the home of Mrs. Jane Garrett Sunday morning. He has been quite feeble for some time. The funeral took place Monday; there was a large attendance in spite of the threatening weather.
Mr. Spoone had many relatives and friends in the neighborhood. His wife died some three years ago. He has lived with Mrs. Garrett the past few years.
