A graveside service will be at 1:30 P.M. Monday, November 12, 2018, at the Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, Illinois. Visitation will be from 12:00 P.M. – 1:00 P.M. Monday, November 12, 2018 at, Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home, Farmer City, Illinois.
Memorials may be made to the Bellflower Christian Church, Bellflower, Illinois.
Lillian was born December 27, 1924, in Blue Ridge Township, Mansfield, Illinois, a daughter of Roy E. & Lillian Grace Warnick Shobe. She married Hursel Ashley on April 9, 1949, in Farmer City, Illinois. He passed away on October 23, 1980.
She is survived by her brother, Franklin Shobe of Bloomington, Illinois; two sisters, Mary Bartosik of Heyworth, Illinois and Betty J. Hendricks of Bloomington, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Lillian farmed with her husband in the Bellflower area. She was a member of the Bellflower Christian Church; Senior Social Club Bellflower; Bellflower American Legion Auxiliary. Lillian was a volunteer for the Farmer City Peace Meals for several years.
