On November 9th, 2018, Elizabeth (Libby) Neal stepped into heaven and got to see her Jesus face to face.
She had bravely battled cancer for seven years.
She left this world surrounded by her soul mate of over 40 years and her beloved girls.
Libby loved her family more than anything and enjoyed spending time with all of them, especially her precious grand babies.
She spent her life spreading love and care to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a gift for making every single person feel like they were special. However, she was a special gift from God to those of us here on earth.
She was a member of her beloved Mossy Grove Baptist Church and loved her church family tremendously.
She is preceded in death by her parents Dave and Susie Freytag, and her sister Marjorie Rich.Sister
She is survived by her husband Rex Neal; daughters and sons-in-law: Christa (Bobby) Hill, and Amber (Barry) Moore; grand babies: Jenna Elizabeth (Jake) Bercaw, Justin Morris, Mahayla Sherrill, Samantha Elizabeth Moore and Jack Moore; great grand babies: Kaylynn, Lisbeth (Izzy), and Felicity Bercaw; brothers: David, Billy (Myrle), DC (Daisy), JW, Randy (Mendy) Freytag; sisters Mildred Young, Lena (Ralph) Vowell, and Rosemary Hamby; along with a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and neighbors.
The family will receive friends Thursday November 15th, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg.
The funeral service will follow at 7:00 with Bro. Jim Disney officiating.
Graveside service will be held Friday November 16th at 11:00 a.m. in the Wartburg City Cemetery.
