She was born on June 14, 1930, to Everett and Gladys (Swisher) Keeten at Phillipsburg, Kansas. Luella was a graduate of North Platte High School.
She worked for Youth Benefits Unlimited in Colorado for many years before moving back to North Platte. She worked for Walmart for 16 years.
She loved all of her family and enjoyed the time spent with all of them.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Timothy Lee Scott; sister, B. Beyer, and brother, Arlon Keeten.
Luella is survived by a son, Terry D. (Becky) Scott of North Platte; a sister, Corrine (Vern) Mattson of New Jersey; 12 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; two great grandchildren; friends, Milly Richards and Glenda O’Conner.
Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, at the North Platte Cemetery. Cremation was chosen. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is charge of arrangements.
